IICRC Certification – What it Means and How it Benefits You!
The IICRC is the primary education and certification body in our industry. Firms and Technicians who have been certified have spent many hours of classroom time studying their fields of certification, as well as passing stringent tests administered by the IICRC.
Generally, a cleaner with current certification will be better trained and more knowledgeable, and provide you with better service than one who is not.
My firm is IICRC Certified, and I personally hold certifications in Carpet Cleaning, Area Rug Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, Odor Control and Water Damage Restoration. Additionally, my employees are IICRC Certified, and I am committed to continually improving and growing their education – and my own!
Finally, we are Durango’s only (underline “only”) CRI Seal Of Approval Certified Provider. The CRI (Carpet and Rug Institute) tests and certifies the equipment and cleaning products we use to ensure their performance. This, and our IICRC Certification, are being required by more and more new carpet warranties to make certain that reputable firms provide proper maintenance for your new carpet investment to make it last as long as possible.
